Ahpra works with Australia’s National Boards to administer health practitioner registration; it is not an examination or an immigration authority. Internationally qualified nurses and midwives generally begin by completing the relevant online self-check before proceeding through the qualification-assessment and registration pathway. Depending on the applicant’s profession, qualification, experience and assessment outcome, additional examinations or evidence may be required. Our service includes pathway orientation, document checklist preparation, qualification and experience review, English-language exam training, registration-verification guidance, NCLEX and OSCE preparation where applicable, and application-stage support. Final assessment and registration decisions are made by Ahpra and the relevant National Board.
